Innovation voucher for Verbruggen Palletizing Solutions B.V.

The Development Company Flevoland B.V. has awarded an innovation voucher to Verbruggen Palletizing Solutions B.V. For the development of a composite frame for their palletizer, in Emmeloord. The financial impetus is made possible with funding from the REOF fund and its intention is to help Flevoland’s innovations.

Verbruggen Palletizing Solutions B.V. is market leader when it comes to solutions for palletizing hard-to-stack products. For over 25 years, they have developed and delivered palletizing machines for the agricultural and industrial markets worldwide. The current palletizers, made largely of steel, are not sufficiently equipped for the trend of more operations per minute and smaller packages. The positioning frame of steel has such a mass that it is unrealistic to make palletization and positioning of the products even faster. Verbruggen has sought the solution in the application of composite parts. The model must now be developed into an affordable prototype that must prove its value in practice. The contribution from the innovation stimulation scheme of the development company Flevoland makes this possible.
