We are Moving!
We are excited to announce that Verbruggen Palletizing Solutions is moving! As a family business that designs and builds palletizing machines for a global market, we continue to grow. That’s why we’re relocating to a new site, but we remain committed to our roots in Emmeloord.
Our Future Home
This past week, the ground was prepared for the construction of our brand-new building at the industrial area of Munt B in Emmeloord, The Netherlands. In September, the first pile will be driven into the ground, and next summer, we hope to move into our new 15,000 m2 facility. Director Maarten Verbruggen is looking forward to this exciting move: “Our more than 100 employees in Emmeloord currently work spread across three different locations. We are outgrowing our capacity and no longer see growth opportunities at our current location, that is why we are moving to a brand-new building. But we have to admit we feel some sadness saying goodbye to the current location, where the company has experienced enormous growth.”
Verbruggen Visitor Experience
The new building offers space for further growth on all fronts. “We can produce more efficiently in the new facility because the larger space allows shorter production lines and a more optimized production process. This creates the opportunity to handle the increasing demand and size of the projects. Additionally, it strengthens the bond between our employees because everyone will soon be working together under one roof. Also important: we build according to the latest GPR standards. This means that we build as sustainably as possible. We will soon be gas-free, build our new building partly with circular materials, and generate a large part of our own energy,” Maarten explains.
Growth for the Future
Furthermore, we are using the visibility of the new location to showcase our machines. “Our new building will be located next to highway A6. This makes us more accessible, but also more visible. That is why the new building will also have a ‘Verbruggen visitor experience’. This allows us to organize ‘factory tours’ where we can demonstrate our latest innovative solutions to customers and other interested parties.”
