Recently, we’ve all felt the weight of a market that looks very different than it did just a few short years ago.

Rising interest rates, shifting tariff landscapes, increased input costs, and soft commodity pricing across agriculture have created real pressure – not just on our business, but on our customers and partners as well. When you add in a more cautious end consumer, it becomes clear that these are not ordinary times.

But while the challenges are real, so is our response.

At Verbruggen Palletizing Solutions, we’ve always believed that long-term success is built not in the easy cycles, but in how you respond to the difficult ones. Our focus right now is simple: remain strong, stay disciplined, and continue showing up for the people who rely on us. Navigating that in a difficult market has caused us to focus on working smarter with more flexibility.

We are actively aligning our cost structure with today’s realities – ensuring that our fixed costs reflect both current and anticipated market conditions. As part of this effort, we are moving toward a more centralized operational footprint, bringing parts and service together in one location to improve efficiency, communication, and responsiveness.

At the same time, we are taking a hard look at how we operate day-to-day. By streamlining internal processes, we’re removing friction, increasing speed, and making it easier to deliver consistent results for our customers.

Building Smarter, Stronger Partnerships

One of the most important shifts we’re making is how and where we deploy our resources.

We are intentionally pivoting toward strategic partnerships in regions that allow us to better support our customers – faster response times, stronger local presence, and deeper service capabilities. In parallel, we are expanding our network of service partners and positioning parts inventory in more strategic locations across North America.

This is about more than efficiency. It’s about proximity, reliability, and trust.

When a customer needs support – availability and speed matter. We are building a network designed to deliver both.
