  • Verbruggen joins European innovation project PARADAIM

Project PARADAIM has started!

Great news: Verbruggen Palletizing Solutions has officially joined PARADAIM, a European innovation project recently approved by the ERDF East Netherlands program. Together with a number of strong partners, we are focusing on AI-supported product development — an exciting step towards the future of smart machines.

Wat is PARADAIM about?

Within PARADAIM we collaborate with AWL, MechDes, Hollander Techniek, Van den Bos CM and HGG. The expertise of Windesheim University of Applied Sciences and the University of Twente is also involved. The project is coordinated by Perron038.
In short, we are building a virtual development process in which we use data and AI to create a Digital Model of new machines. This allows us to improve designs, test virtually, and align everything smartly in advance — only then is the real machine built. The big advantage? Higher quality, shorter development time, and significant cost savings.

 

Why is this important?

PARADAIM runs until September 2027 and builds on previous projects (PRISMA and BRAINS). The insights and knowledge we gain together will be widely shared with the manufacturing industry in East Netherlands. This way, not only the partners benefit, but the entire sector.

What does this mean for Verbruggen?

For us, participation is an opportunity to further strengthen our innovative capacity and to develop our palletizing solutions in a smarter and faster way. We look forward to achieving great results together with our partners in the coming years!
