The Vine Co Original Series Chile Merlot Red Wine Homebrew Kit makes you 30 bottles of outstanding quality wine, which has a distinctive flavour that only the best grape juice concentrates can make.

A smooth, medium bodied wine, with flavours of plum, blackberries, cherries and red fruits a bit like eating a delicious slice of fruit-cake with chocolatey notes. The oak chips add sweet spice notes of vanilla and clove along with a wonderful velvety texture.  Tip: You don't need to the oak chips.  Leaving them out will remove the fruit-cake and chocolatey notes.  This allows the flavours of plum, blackberries, cherries and red fruits to shine through.

The strength of the wine will be around the 12% ABV mark and will take approximately 4 weeks to make.

In this kit you get 8 litres of grape concentrate (that you top up to 23 litres with tap water), the perfect yeast for this style of wine and the other ingredients to make sure this wine kit makes you 30 bottles of wine that you would find on the expensive shelves of the supermarket aisle. 

Once bottled it is best left for a couple of months to mature.

No extra sugar is required as this is a premium all inclusive wine kit.
